Trojan Farm Series – Cows Feeding and Lying – all moulded in slightly translucent white plastic (more typical of Hilco) – the Feeding Cow has black Friesian markings, whilst the Lying Cow has brown Hereford markings; both have pink painted udders – unmarked but the lying cow has a distinctive pinprick mark to underside and thin horns, thought to be particular to Trojan – Date to circa late 1950’s – in Fair to Good used condition for age with some paint loss and wear, would benefit from a gentle clean – extremely hard to find Trojan models – the first we have found in nearly 40 years of collecting – [Provenance: from the Bradford collection of Trojan Farm Animals]
