SOLD Lone Star Wrestling Cowboys Moulding Variation

Lone Star Harvey Series group of 3 Wrestling Cowboys, with raised pistol (from L.256 Fighting Pair set), including a rare early moulding variation with small hexagonal base and taller, slimmer figure – Lone Star must have soon realised that a 54mm plastic figure standing on one leg on a small base was unstable and we believe swiftly altered the mould by making the base a larger pentagon-shape and the figure a slightly shorter, squatter, 52mm – Three of the four figures we have in this group are of the later moulding, whilst the early small base version is moulded in grey polythene, with an orange shirt and olive green painted trousers/base, though much of the paint has flaked off – Provenance: from the Ian Rust Plastic Toy Figure Collection [3 figures].
