SOLD Lone Star Paratroops – Unusual WINTER Dress

Lone * Star Products – Made in England – ‘Harvey Series Unbreakables’ Plastic 54mm figures, comprising: 3 x Paratroopers [ref. L.176] painted in Winter dress, with Red helmets and detail to hand grenade, mortar shell and mortar – the uniforms are painted a light Beige colour with Cream knapsacks, webbing straps and holsters for pistol – finished with Black bases and boots – presumably painted to represent British Paratroopers in World War II Winter dress (Norwegian campaign?) and are probably very early in date circa 1957 – these figures are in Poor well-used used condition, with considerable paint loss and wear, but which in our opinion are possibly authentic since there doesn’t appear to be any other traces of paint underneath the first layer of paint and the paint is applied thickly, consistent with and in the style of Lone Star. On the other hand the buyer could simply have bought unpainted figures and painted them himself – the final photo shows all the Paratroopers from this collection – [Provenance: from the Norfolk collection – 3 pieces] – note: we will issue a refund if you’re not happy with the authenticity of these figures.
