Herald Miniatures, exceptionally rare (pre-Britains) plain white card 3-dozen trade box of Black Piglets, head down, now containing 9 of 36 – all marked with Herald trumpeter logo to underbelly – rubber-stamped end description with the catalogue no. 1568 dates this trade box to circa 1956 (from 1959 the piglets were amalgamated as H2189) – offered for sale in Mint unused condition (still undisturbed wrapped in tissue) – carton is good, with original packing tissue – original price “3d” and “Small Pig Black”, marked lightly in pencil – very rare and early Herald trade box – [From the Roger Saunders collection] *** Sold June 2023 ***
