Cherilea Toys 54mm plastic toy soldiers – window box set of WW2 khaki infantry in US Infantry uniforms (from Cherilea hollow-cast moulds) – these hand-painted polythene figures in near Mint unused condition – still tied onto printed yellow scenic card insert – window box is Very Good, some storage wear, cellophane partially detached. “Flexible Hand-Painted Toys” and “Made in Gt. Britain” printed on box. Dates to circa 1965 – [Provenance: from a collection of old shop stock recently discovered in Belgium, obtained from the original owner’s grandson; the shop having been open between 1956 and 1986].
