SOLD Britains Lead Mould Cow & Calves SMOOTH Plastic

Britains ‘Unbreakable’ Plastic Farm Series – No. 804 Cow feeding (Friesian breed markings) and 2 x No. 812 Calf lying (black Friesian and brown Ayrshire breed markings) – all models are moulded in smooth, waxy plastic (polythene) i.e. before texturing was added to the moulds – these are pre-Britains/Herald merger models dating to 1957 or 1958 (originating from Britains lead moulds) – it is unusual to find a matching trio of smooth plastic cow and calves which originated from the same collection.
