H741 & H742 – Ukrainian Man playing concertina, in open-fronted carton, and Peasant Woman – note that the perforated card that originally connected the two cartons has been separated (and note the pencil price 1/6 each denoting that these cartons were sold singly) – Figures are VG to Excellent – Hard to find open-fronted carton, though is in Poor condition (note: card is brittle with age) – [Provenance: from the Roger Saunders Collection]
