Herald 54mm Farm Models, comprising: 2 x Farmer, standing with shotgun and walking stick [cat. no. H1554]. 2 different examples, including a Very Scarce early example (left of photos) with eggshell black painted fastening to the back of his waistcoat and buttons of waistcoat picked out in silver. Also has early blue-green eggshell base – Both figures painted with earlier darker blue breeches and marked with the Herald logo. Issued from 1956 [Provenance: from the Herald Glasgow Collection].
