Crescent Toys – Unbreakable Plastic Models – 54mm scale – early 1956 issue, comprising: I.2 Kneeling firing rifle and I.4 Firing bow – both figures have RARE Spray-painted headdresses – very early full paint versions with Gold painted detail to I.4 – Fair used condition with some paint flaking and wear – the 1956 Crescent Toy catalogue, dominated by metal toys, states “Here is a completely new range of original models which has been specifically designed for this material (plastic)…these new models are made of a plastic (polythene) which is very strong and resilient. They are packed as illustrated, 3 figures mounted on a very attractive 4-colour display pack which gives a very pleasing appearance to each set” – [2 pieces]
