Newly discovered transitional Cherilea plastic farm animal, approx 54mm scale, Comprising: a RARE Goat, moulded in white plastic and painted dark reddish-brown – Overall in Good used condition with some wear and paint loss – note: amongst the earliest Cherilea plastic models and derived from the hollow-cast lead mould, albeit slightly modified, as were a number of the transitional plastic animals [this model was previously dismissed as a Hong Kong copy but a chance examination of an illustration of a Cherilea trade box confirms it as an early transitional Cherilea farm animal and omitted from a recent article Barney wrote for PW magazine]
