Britains early black-faced Sheep, Feeding and Standing [cat. no. H2209], together with an early black-faced Lamb [cat. no. H2215] – all derived from Britains lead moulds and dating to circa 1957-58 [when they were issued under Britains ‘Unbreakable Model Home Farm Series’ as cat. nos. 805, 806 and 811] – these unmarked sheep have chocolate brown hand-painted faces and hooves and are much harder to find than their later cousins with chocolate painted eyes only.
