Cherilea 50mm Cowboys and Indians – 4 Figures

Cherilea ‘Unbreakable’ Plastic Series – original 50mm Cowboys and Indians (from the hollow-cast moulds) comprising: P/1 Cowboy firing pistol, P/3 Cowboy Running, P/52 Indian kneeling with shield and CHRL/012 Chief standing with lance and tomahawk (detachable headdress) – moulded in dark chestnut brown plastic with, 1st type, small square recess to base and beautifully hand-painted bright paint schemes – CHRL/012 is a very early paint version – in Good to Very Good lightly used condition for age with only minor wear and paint loss, though note that CHRL/012 is missing the upper part of his lance – these early ‘lead mould’ figures dates to circa 1956-58 and are very hard to find in this condition – [Provenance: from the Sussex collection of plastic toy soldiers]
