Britains Zoo Series Plastic Baby Elephant (from LEAD Mould)

Britains Plastic Zoo Series – #944 Baby Elephant – moulded in chestnut polythene, painted all-over grey, with white painted eyes and black brows – measures approx 2 inches long and 1.5 inches tall – unmarked, thought to be from the lead mould rather than a Hong Kong copy (which are usually marked ‘Empire Made’ or ‘Made in Hong Kong’. Could this be a test shot as never put into production as far as we know – overall in Good used condition with some paint loss and wear [from the ‘Sussex’ collection]
