SOLD Herald Zang Ballet Dancers – RED & BLUE

Herald Zang era Male Dancer, Blue, moulded in white polythene, H701 and Corps-de-Ballet, arms lowered, moulded in flesh colour plastic and painted in scarcer RED colour scheme, catalogue number H713 (early version with the darker greenish-grey base – undersides of both figures have the Herald trumpeter trademark) – Figures are Good, with some wear/paint loss, particularly the paint to the male dancer, which is very flaky – Date to circa 1956 or 1957 ‘Zang’ production era [Provenance: from the Manhattan Collection]
