Lone Star Farm Animals – Catalogue no. AN/12 Pig, moulded in WHITE plastic, with black spray-painted upper parts, grey hooves, dusky pink belly, eyes, ears and snout – introduced in 1961 by Lone Star as “Something new in Farm Animals. These precision-made [54mm scale] models all have movable legs and heads which immediately bring them to life and provide unlimited play value. Boxed in dozens now available, with many more to follow” – Actually proved to be very short-lived (discontinued in 1962) and Lone Star only produced five different articulated farm animals. Ultra rare model…the first WHITE plastic example we have seen.
