Zang/Herald Miniatures – Military Models – Very early group of S2 Scotsmen Marching with Rifle (1st type fixed arm version, with no bayonet), including one RARE UNPAINTED example – all have the Herald trumpeter logo, ‘Made in England’ and the catalogue number ‘S2’ – Date to circa 1953 or ’54. Hard to find version in Good used condition with some wear and paint flaking [“the painted ones have white hackles in their bonnets, so are slightly later than the first version with the Herald base, which retained the red hackle of the Zang version” Dan Morgan] – [4 pieces]
