SOLD Swoppet C15th Mounted Knight with Standard

Britains Swoppets: 15th Century Knights, comprising: Wars of the Roses Set No.1450 Mounted Knight with Standard. Figure is Near Mint (complete with visor, dagger, sword, favour, etc.); contained in a Poor to Fair [age wear, acetate window replaced, scuffing, splits, one flap has an internal brown paper repair, discolouration] 2nd Issue blue/yellow Pavilion type window box. Figure has green trailing plume, black shield with red boss. Horse has yellow strap type caparison, with white reins – the addition of a ‘Big B’ Britains Models sticker to the ‘roof’ of the box dates this particular example to between 1962 and 1964 – [Provenance: from the PETER COLE Archive Collection].
