SOLD Zang Boxed Set of Highlanders

M.Zang [Modern Packages] 1946 Exceptionally Rare, possibly unique, Box Set of “Soldier Series” Scottish Highlanders, wearing Glengarry caps – each figure measures just 1¼ inches high and are made of a composition material of glue and pumice – Figures are generally Excellent to Near Mint (2 bases repaired) – Lift-off lid style box, with printed label and card insert, is Good (with some age related wear, staining, rubbing) – [Provenance: from the PETER COLE Archive Collection – see P16/17 of Peter’s book ‘Suspended Animation’ and originally acquired by Peter from James Opie].
