SOLD Lead Mould SMOOTH Plastic Friesian Cow Feeding 1958

Britains ‘Unbreakable’ Farm Series – Cat. No. 821 Cow, feeding – Moulded in very rare Smooth, waxy, plastic (polythene) – Only issued in smooth plastic and under this catalogue number for 1958 (from 1959, the year that Britains merged with Herald, the feeding cow derived from Britains lead mould was renumbered H2133 and moulded in textured plastic) – Unusally, the horns, hooves and udders of this example have been left unpainted (the only other example I have seen – see final photo – are painted) – Good used condition.
